Networks built for business

Fast, reliable, and built to grow with you. UniFi networking, designed and supported by Macro State.

Networks that don't get in the way

Most business networks weren't built for how teams actually work today. Dropouts during meetings, dead zones, slow guest networks. We design UniFi networks around your space, your team, and your daily operations. Reliable, secure, and easy to manage.

Common questions

Practical answers to the questions we get asked most about UniFi networks.

Is UniFi good for small business?

Yes. UniFi is enterprise-grade networking sold at small-business prices, which is why it's become the go-to for offices, retail, hospitality, and warehouses. You get the reliability and features of much more expensive systems, in a single ecosystem that's easier to manage as you grow.

Will UniFi work with my existing internet connection?

Yes. UniFi works with any internet connection, including NBN, fibre, business broadband, and 4G or 5G. The UniFi router or firewall sits between your modem and the rest of your network, so whatever connection your ISP provides, UniFi will manage it. We can also set up a backup connection for automatic failover if your primary line drops.

Why should I segment my business network?

Network segmentation is one of the most effective security measures any business can take. Separating staff devices, guest Wi-Fi, payment terminals, and IoT devices into their own networks limits how far a security threat can spread if one device is compromised. UniFi access points support multiple wireless networks at once, so segmentation is built in from day one, no extra hardware needed.

Can UniFi handle multiple locations?

Yes. UniFi is built for multi-site management from day one. You can add new offices, warehouses, or retail stores into the same dashboard, control access centrally, and manage everything from one app. This makes it a strong fit for businesses planning to grow.

Is UniFi secure enough for business?

Yes. UniFi includes a built-in firewall, intrusion detection, VPN, and threat management, features that used to require dedicated security appliances. We configure these properly during installation so your network is secure by default, with regular firmware updates keeping it current.

What happens if my internet goes down?

UniFi supports automatic failover, so if your primary internet connection drops, the network switches to a backup connection like 4G, 5G, or a second ISP without interrupting your work. We design every install with continuity in mind, especially for businesses where downtime means lost revenue.
