Melbourne's UniFi Installation Specialists

Ubiquiti UniFi networks, cameras and door access, installed properly. Site survey, structured cabling, clean racks and full commissioning by a local specialist team.

Installation

UniFi installed properly, end to end

A UniFi installation from Macro State covers the whole job, from site survey and network design to structured cabling, hardware supply, rack and mounting, configuration and commissioning. We install UniFi Network, Protect cameras and Access door control as one system on one console, so you get a single point of contact and a documented handover you can hand to any future IT provider.

Our standard

What a Macro State install looks like

Every job, same standard. No exceptions for size or budget.

Site survey first

WiFi heat mapping, cable paths and power checked before a single device is ordered.

Structured cabling

Cat6A, labelled both ends, tested and certified. Patch panels, not spaghetti.

Clean racks and mounts

Cable managed, PoE budgets calculated, ceiling and pole mounts done to spec.

Clean & Tidy

Boxes, packaging, offcuts and dust all go with us. You walk into a clean space, not a clean-up job.

Commissioned

Every AP, camera and reader tested at its install location before we sign off.

Documented

Device inventory, network map, admin credentials and warranty info in one pack.

UniFi installation questions

Straight answers to what Melbourne businesses ask us before an install.

How long does a UniFi installation take?

A typical small office with a gateway, switch and a few access points is usually done in a day. Multi-floor sites or installs that include cameras and door access take two to five days. The site survey gives you a fixed timeline before any work starts.

Will my business have downtime during the install?

Very little. We build the new network alongside your existing one, then schedule the cutover for a quiet window or after hours. The switch-over itself is usually under an hour, and we stay on site until everything is confirmed working.

Can you reuse my existing cabling?

Often, yes. Cat5e is fine for most access points and cameras; we recommend Cat6 for new runs, high-density WiFi and PoE++ devices. You only pay for new cabling where the old runs fail testing or don't reach where devices need to go.

Do you supply the UniFi hardware?

Yes. We design, quote, supply and install as one package, so the hardware matches the design and you have one point of accountability. If you've already bought UniFi gear, we can install and configure that too.

What warranty and support do I get after the install?

Hardware is covered by Ubiquiti's manufacturer warranty, and we stand behind our workmanship. Every install ends with a documented handover, so you're never locked in. If you want ongoing support, we offer managed network support as a separate service.

Do you install outside Melbourne?

Melbourne metro is our home ground. We also take on regional Victoria and multi-site projects for Melbourne-based businesses by arrangement. Get in touch with your locations and we'll tell you straight away whether it's a fit.
